Our Services
Life Connections will provide a range of services to people with disabilities, including:

Physical assistance: Helping with daily tasks like personal hygiene and care, getting around, shopping, cooking, and housework.

Emotional support: Providing connections and support to help people feel fulfilled.

Community connection: Helping people maintain connections with family, friends, and services.

Goal setting: Supporting people to achieve their goals, no goal is too big or small.

Independence: Helping people develop and maintain their independence where possible.

Life Connections can work in a variety of settings, including clients' homes, residential settings, community settings, at clinical, medical and, hospital appointments.

Life Connections will conduct risk assessments to keep the people they support safe from harm and minimise risk.

Life Connections will always document every shift. These documents will range from progress notes, incident reports, risk assessments, goal progress etc. Documents will be stored in Shiftcare app
Biography
Amber is a passionate advocate for disability rights and the founder of Life Connections Support Services, an innovative organisation dedicated to providing comprehensive support and resources for individuals with disabilities. With a background in social work industry and years of experience in the disability services field, Amber will work to address the unmet needs of the community and empower individuals to lead fulfilling lives.
Amber grew up in Bundaberg, where she witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by individuals with disabilities and the social injustices that followed. This inspired her to pursue a degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Griffith Univerisity, followed by extensive training in Mental Health First Aid, and Therapeutic Crisis Intervention Training. Amber is also pursuing studies in a Graduate Certificate of Disability Practice. After working in various capacities within the disability and the human services services sector, Amber identified gaps in support and advocacy, leading to the creation of Life Connections Support Services.
Under Amber's leadership, Life Connections Support Services will be a vital resource, offering programs that range from life skills development to advocacy and community integration. Life Connection's approach emphasises personalised support, collaboration with families, and partnerships with local organisations to ensure holistic care.
Life Connections Support Services has a strong commitment to inclusivity and empowerment too all clients and their families.
Amber lives in Moreton Bay with her 3 children and remains dedicated to creating a more inclusive society where individuals with disabilities can thrive.
